HELIOS 400 Quadrocopter - radio-controlled aircraft for the iPhone

From the House of Arktis.de can we you today a new gadget present, which can be operated with the iPhone. The new HELIOS is 400 Quadrotor, a new small aircraft that can be controlled via an iPhone and app.

The new Quadrotor is equipped with four rotors and this is similar to the principle of the AR.Drone, a further toy for the iPhone. The new Helios 400 Quadrotor can be equipped with a payload of 900 grams, for example with a camera and can fly with up to a speed of 80kmh through the air.

The new toy is based on an aerodynamic housing with the modern pusher drive concept and can cover distances with up to two kilometres, that maximum must be between aircraft and control. The control works as mentioned an iPhone app and the iPhone itself serves as transmission device. There is a tendency the Smartphone in the different directions, which directly tends is transmitted the signal on the Quadrotor.

The Quadrotor will already be available as of 28 November and will cost € 1349.
