Lift off: NASA's rover Curiosity on the way to Mars


This weekend, NASA sent the 900-pound rover "Curiosity" with an Atlas V-541 Trägerrakte into orbit from Cape Canaveral. If everything runs smoothly, "Curiosity" will be landing in about 9 months in Gale Crater and resume the search for organic material on our red planetary neighbor. Equipped with a radiometer to measure the first time researchers, what will be the radiation for future astronauts.
