Answer
Communication satellites are in geosynchronous orbit because in this orbit the satellites so launched are synchronized with the sped of the earth; only one orbit can be geosynchronous. The satellite must move at the same speed as the earth .The speed of each satellite must be constant around the earth and there distance from earth is also equal (22000 miles from the surface of earth) so they can communicate effectively.
