Asus P9X79 WAS motherboard - high-end board for workstation PCs

From the house we now present a new Asus motherboard that is in the range of workstation PCs come into play. Asus has announced that is now the new model P9X79 WAS for Europe, which will be released in the coming days at a cost of about 330 .

The new motherboard is the Intel X79 chipset and boasts one of LGA 2011 socket for Intel Sandy Bridge-E processors. There are four DDR3-2400 SO-DIMMs for memory modules and six PCI-Express x16 interface, which can all be equipped with graphics cards.

Other ports include 4x SATA 6.0Gbps also, 4x SATA 3.0Gbps, 4x USB 3.0, 13x USB 2.0, FireWire and 7.1-channel audio. There are also two Gigabit Ethernet LAN interfaces for the network.
