My wife and I are moving to Portland for 2 years and we are looking to rent our 2 bedroom 2 full bath condo. Its 1168 sq-ft with a separate living room, dining room, laundry/storage room, walk in closet and 2 large porches, perfect for eating outside and a potted garden. The setup really feels like a home not a apartment. The microwave, stove/oven, fridge, dishwasher and brand new high efficiency washer and dryer, window coverings are all included. Personally the best features of the place are the fireplace for the winter, the pool area for the summer, the large layout (most nearby condos are around 900sq-ft), and the quiet community of neighbors. There is also one cover parking spot that is included. Hot water heater, all water, trash, recycle, pool care/ lawn care all included. The location is great.... close to HWY 36 access, the bus lines, bike path and a shopping center but nestled away enough to have a great neighborhood feel. Bobolink trail, huge fields, dog parks out the back door. The complex is full of families and mature adults so noise and privacy are never an issue. Nearest major cross streets are Baseline and Foothills parkway. Also its one of the best locations within the complex (away from street with close parking). The acting landlord will be my father in law who is only 2 blocks away for quick response to anything. Overall its a great place which is why we plan to keep it while we are gone instead of selling.
