Just another day at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It's the city's largest urban park with numerous species of animals to see, both on exhibit and sighted on the open grounds. The Sanctuary isn't a zoo, but rather a home to many injured animals that would not survive on their own in the wild. Annually, more than 4000 sick and/or injured animals are brought in by the public for assistance. Operated through the city, it is a non-profit organization operated solely through donations from private donors and the general public. Come visit the Sanctuary if you're ever in the area--there's more the Green Bay than the Packers! :)

From BrainBucketNews.com: The roar of motorcycle engines is not an unusual sound around Pelican Junction, a hangout to many enthusiasts of the two-wheeled transportation, but a gathering of friends of a fallen biker brought perhaps more than the usual crowd to the Baytown icehouse Saturday. Texas - Sam Marlin, 47, died Dec. 5 when what witnesses said was a white Chevrolet pickup truck pulled onto state Highway 146 near South Alexander Drive right into the path of Marlins oncoming motorcycle. The Baytown man never had a chance. The truck struck his Harley and it went down. The truck ran over the bike and its rider, then fled the scene. Marlin was rushed to Hermann Hospital, but to no avail. He died shortly thereafter. So far police investigators havent found the driver of that pickup truck and Marlins friends and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts want to help do that. More than 100 people gathered at Pelican Junction and each took a stack of fliers to hand out. Those fliers offer a 00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for Marlins death.
