Attack of the Birds

I was outside Sam's Club last night when the whole store was suddenly invaded by grackles. Perhaps it's a sign that 2012 will be an ominous year? ;)

I'm surrounded by a flock of Common Grackles. I'd say the flock is made of hundreds of birds flying from the trees to the ground and all around. I'm in Kings Point in Great Neck New York. 10/28/11
