This is from February 18, 2012 at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, MA. This is at Halcyon Lake. There's usually a pair of Hooded Mergansers that has been vexing me all winter. I only have a 55-250mm zoom lens and they paddle around in circles just out of the range of me getting a decent picture of them. Got a camera with video capabilities so that helped me finally capture some decent footage of them. As an added bonus there's another male here.
