Beaver Brown live at The Bottom Line, NYC 1980. One of the best bar bands ever, hailing from Rhode Island, they played up and down the East Coast and became adopted sons of Asbury Park, playing regularly at the Fast Lane and later in Red Bank, NJ at Clarence Clemmons' nightclub Big Mans West. I remember this was one of their big breaks at the time, playing a live radio broadcast for WNEW FM. Their independently released 45, "Wild Summer Nights/Tender Years" was getting airplay in the NY area. I think I read somewhere that record producer Kenny Vance brought the director of the movie Eddie & The Cruisers to see this show and they asked them to do the soundtrack.
