Hosted by Trine Gallegos In 1988, a committee of professionals was comprised of architects, planners, and educators to design a modern facility that would support a great number of students as well as far exceed the challenges of a higher educational need. As you will see in this story, this challenge and then some, were met like you've never seen before. Deer Valley High School first opened its doors to Freshmen and Sophomore student body. The school can house 750 students per each of their 4 houses or buildings if you will. DVHS offers students outstanding resource areas such as Industrial Technology, Performing Arts Theater, Media Center Library equipt with a video retrival system for teachers to schedule or instantly view educational material.
