A flock of male and female Evening Grosbeaks feed on the rail of my deck. Boulder County, Colorado.
I've been trying to lure Baltimore Orioles to my back yard for the past two springs since moving to the new house in 2009. I used to get them at my old house, but this is the first time they've visited me here. Just yesterday I made a comment to my husband about how I was sad because it looks like my favorite bird is never going to visit our feeders. Happy Mother's Day to me!! The rose-breasted grosbeaks are here every Spring/Summer, but I'm happy that they made it into my little film also!
