Hello Minecraft players, soon-to-be server owners, server owners, etc / Youtube viewers! In this video I explain (in depth) how to create and run a Minecraft server! I cover everything from Downloading, port forwarding, static ip...ing, port-ing, and everything else in between! Here are the steps in plain text if you're not the type of person that likes to listen to a 25 minute long lecture on how to start a server! The plain text steps are pretty general, so its advised that you follow the video if you don't know what you're doing. Materials: Computer/Dedicated machine Internets -- optional -- Static IP (from your ISP) Domain name ----- Directions! ----- 1. Download the Minecraft server 2. Setup your computer's static IP - Go to "internet adapters" - Go to properties 3. Run the server and test to see if you can connect to it locally 4. Setup port forward on your router - Go to the default IP for your router * www.techspot.com - log in using the default username and password if they are still default * www.phenoelit-us.org - Go to Port forward 5.
