Rare bird sighted in the mountains of Fiji - Conservation International (CI)
www.conservation.org The long-legged warbler or long-legged thicketbird (Trichocichla rufa) is endemic to Fiji's Viti Levu and Vanua Levu islands. Previously listed as Data Deficient by the IUCN Red List, the bird's rediscovery in 2003 helped scientists reclassify it as Endangered. CI's conservation efforts in Viti Levu's Sovi Basin will help the species' chance of survival. Learn more at www.conservation.org
