This great horned owl was rescued by a firefighter after he saw it fly through a wall of flame in Sylmar CA on Nov 15 2008. It was brought to Valley Wildlife Care in Woodland Hills CA for rehabilitation. Valley Wildlife Care (valleywildlifecare.org) is operated by volunteers and funded by donations, and, yes, we can always use your support!
