SNOW - STEAM & VALENTA (DECEMBER 2010)

Filmed during the 1st couple of weeks during December 2010, we see various workings in tempts around -6 to -10 in the snow on the ECML. It was hoped that we could nail steam loco A4 Bittern. But due to various problems, Bittern, was diverted & didn't make it to Lincoln. However..... One weekend later fellow A4 class mate Sir Nigel Gresley, did run, abit behind time. So seen here is Sir Gres blasting it's way north to York (past it's birth place), after doing a watering stop. Also featured here, is one of the final Valenta (GC) workings within the final week of Valenta workings. Valenta, Gone but not forgotten 1976 to 2010.
