Talismans and Amulets of the Nameless Art as used by Doctor Cormorant

Talismans and Amulets are an important part of the western esoteric tradition and naturally are significant in the Nameless Art practised in East Anglia. Here Nigel Pennick presents a selection of talismans and amulets used in Cambridgeshire by magicians, planet readers, witches, conjuring parsons and cunning men like the one whom some call Doctor Cormorant. The soundtrack by Nigel Pennick includes the traditional English tunes 'The Astrologer' and 'Lammas' played on mountain dulcimer. Also: The Astrologer youtu.be
