The Ichetucknee River

A wildlife viewing trip down the Ichetucknee River in North Florida
Video Rating: 4 / 5

A Pileated Woodpecker that has been feeding from our suet logs. One of a pair that has been coming back for a number of years to raise their young. They are devoted parents and take turns bringing the young one to feed when he can fly. We also see a pair of Downy's, and occasionally a Common Flicker. Thanks to W. Ray Salt & Jim R. Salt for their wonderful classifications in 'The Birds of Alberta' ©2011
