WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Pyoro S
I guess it's time to showcase the minigames that are in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Now, the focus of the game is the "microgame," which are goal-oriented and, with a few exceptions, never last more than 7 seconds. As you go through the game, however, mini-games are also unlocked, which are score-based challenges, tasking you to do things and continuing until you fail. Pyoro S is by all means not the first one you'd unlock (it'll probably be the last), but that doesn't mean that he's not taken seriously. This red bird is just as much a veteran of WarioWare as Wario himself, having shown up in Pyoro and Pyoro 2 in WarioWare: Mega Microgame$ , Pyoro R in WarioWare: Twisted!, and Pyoro T in WarioWare: Touched! Whether Pyoro makes his way into WarioWare DIY is something I don't yet know. In those first four Pyoros, the little guy stands on his home planet, using his extendable beak (NOT his tongue, which I had though) to skewer the bugs that were trying to invade his garden. Pyoro S puts Pyoro on the offensive, with a full range of movement and direction and now more resembling a vertical shooter--complete with bosses that fire rapidly and litter the screen with projectiles. I'm not very good at this one compared to the previous Pyoros. Vertical shooters is probably one of the genres I'm worst at, so for now, this personal high score will have to do. Enjoy.
