11 minute original music composed by Harry Escott for Steve McQueen's film "Shame." Ever since I saw the trailer for "Shame" I loved the music. Being a huge fan of Hans Zimmer's "The Thin Red Line," I was drawn to the striking similarity. But for the rearranging of a few notes, this piece sounds identical to Zimmer's piece in tone, structure and sequence. The music follows a very similar rhythm (ticking in the background) and emotional buildup as does Zimmer's piece "Journey to the Line." At the end, the melody sores to high notes using strings just like Zimmer's piece The soundtrack will be released on Tuesday, December 6, but I couldn't wait until then so here you go :-) Theatrical release dates content.foxsearchlight.com 12/2/2011 NEW YORK, NY AMC Lincoln Square.
