Last day of my Lake District holiday and that two weeks has gone so fast! Today the weather was really hot, quite a change from last week. This and the 3 previous photos are from a walk I took round Rydal water, although the heat and exertion really wore me out. It was good to get a longish walk in though. Now got to have an early night for the long journey home tomorrow, just over 380 miles.

Lake buttermere tree

A nice picturesque tree on lake buttermere. I'm positive i've seen photos of this tree before at sunrise (maybe a joe cornish?) - today i present a different view of it - in rain :-) was a right pain keeping the ken dry! I
