As Merlin users who have their own projects with MobileMe calendars sync, you should be warned before you access the new MobileMe calendar:

MobileMe update converts your local calendar to subscribed calendars, which means that Merlin can no longer synchronize this calendar.
According to Apple MobileMe with Mac OS X 10.6.4 is or later compatible. If you are using an older system, for example, Mac OS X 10.5.x, is not properly synchronizing. won't fully sync.
If you already upgraded to the new MobileMe calendar have, there is a corresponding downgrade: https://www.me.com/calendar/downgrade/

Why are there such problems?
Merlin uses Apple's SyncServices API for the sync to iCal. Use the new MobileMe calendar but the new CalDAV standard. CalDAV is a protocol for calendar which is also in the new Apple iOS devices used.

You can synchronize locally your Merlin projects with iCal, but these calendars, you can synchronize with the iOS devices (iPhone/iPad/iPod touch).

If you decide to use the new MobileMe calendar, but then you should not export first projects in local iCal calendars and to synchronize only then with the new MobileMe calendars.
