Medion LifeTab (P9514): From the 08th December including at Aldi for 399 €

At IFA in September, we can look at the Medion LifeTab (P9514) is more accurate. Then nothing more was seen or heard. But do not worry, the Medion LifeTab has not disappeared and is from the 08th Finally sold in December.

Among other things, the Aldi, the Medion only leads in terms of electronics products, will require 399 for the Tablet PC. Besides Germany, the unit also in Austria and the Netherlands will be sold.

The price of 399 for the Medion LifeTab might be somewhat overstated. Acer has recently introduced its Acer Iconia Tab A200. It has roughly the same data, but will cost only 299 according to the previous level. In fact, the gap of 100 due to the UMTS modem that is missing in the first A200 Iconia Tab. The Medion LifeTab relies on a 10-inch touchscreen with a resolution in 1280 x 800 pixels.

Under the hood sits, as well as the Iconia Tab A200, the NVIDIA Tegra 2 platform. So far, we could not figure out whether to offer at Aldi and Co, the variant with 32 GB memory. To our knowledge, there should be only the 32 GB version. We have two cameras on board, namely a 2-megapixel front camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the back. As mentioned, UMTS is on board, but also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. HDMI and USB interfaces are among the most visible. The operating system is Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) installed.
