Bird Ringing Barn Owls & Kestrels

We spent 2 memorable days this summer out bird ringing with Geoff Sheppard, local bird ringer and secretary of the West Galloway SOC. Geoff has many Barn Owl nestboxes, most made and put up by himself around The Rhins of Galloway. By the end of this summer 2007 he will have ringed approx 200 Barn Owl chicks. Also on this film is the ringing of 6 Kestrel chicks.
