THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA

THE OLD MAN AND THE SEA
Hemingway's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel is brought to the stage in an insightful and moving drama from Magpie Blue Productions. On his eighty-fourth day without a catch, an aged fisherman takes an epic journey out to sea where he must wrestle marlin and fight defeat. This ingenious adaption explores The Old Man's complex relationships with his young apprentice and the sea herself to create a haunting and absorbing piece of theatre. "Beautifully performed, highly intelligent, intuitive amd thought provoking drama" ****allthefestivals.com "A powerful show that will not only pull at your heartstrings, but willleave you wanting more." ***** Fringe Review 2010 Argus Angel for Artistic Excellence at the Brighton Festival and Fringe 2010. There just seem to be more birds around this year. Certainly the dawn chorus is louder. There is a Song thrush, Robin, Pigeon and Magpie in this lot, but my bird knowledge is lacking!. Do you know what they are?
